Helping a patient achieve the smile they want is one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry. A pleasure which has taken Dr Neale to the summit of her profession.
5 years at Harley Street Orthodontics and 15 in total in Harley Street have brought the opportunity to treat every type of case. A reflection of the trust other professionals and patients place in Dr Neale.
Her career began when graduating as a dental surgeon in 1990, from King’s College Hospital, University of London. After gaining dental practice experience, Dr Neale returned to a hospital environment for specialist training.
This included posts in paediatric dentistry, along with oral & maxillofacial surgery. Her affinity with the work bringing Dr Neale a Fellowship in Dental Surgery, from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
A return to London saw more years of academic and clinical training, at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. They produced a Master of Science with Distinction and a Diploma in Dental Health, from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
3 years in post as a Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics followed, including a further Master of Science degree, for research into facial muscle molecular biology.
Dr Neale was awarded Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons and is on the GDC’s specialist list in orthodontics. Her academic achievements and rare dental skills supportive for patients.
Whether treating children, or adults, Dr Neale believes in complete focus on the individual patient. From ensuring they are at ease, to defining a treatment plan which meets their personal wishes and medical needs.
They can be met by practised use of leading braces, such as Invisalign and Incognito, or by tailor made solutions. In a few cases, by bringing our maxillofacial consultants into the plan, a field she knows so well.
Every patient can be assured of high level skills, from their first diagnostic meeting, to the day they smile as they choose. However straightforward, or complex their needs are, Dr Neale’s passion is finding answers for them.
