Dr Lee provides the skills you expect from a respected, consultant orthodontist, in an environment she believes should be welcoming, confidence building.
Creating a fine smile comes from skill, along with the mutual belief of a patient and their orthodontist. Working together to ensure great results, for straightforward, or complex cases.
Dr Lee’s time as a consultant at London’s Royal Free Hospital runs in tandem with the care she offers at Harley Street Orthodontics. Constantly developing techniques which suit both settings and support her colleagues.
Having graduated in dentistry at the University of Manchester in 2001, Dr Lee spent time in private practice and as a senior house officer at Manchester Dental Hospital.
This duality of experience continued over time, including a senior post at Manchester Dental Hospital. A move to the oral and maxillofacial surgical department at North Manchester Hospital added broader skills.
Professional recognition accompanied Dr Lee’s developing knowledge, she was appointed as Registrar in Orthodontics at Newcastle University and entered the GDC register as a Specialist in Orthodontics.
As the years went by, Dr Lee devoted time to sharing knowledge with others. Regularly presenting at the British Orthodontic Conference and Consultant Orthodontic Symposium, along with publishing valuable papers.
Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England followed, her research focused MSc in Orthodontics and a Certificate in Medical Education adding to an ability to transfer skills.
Every aspect of Dr Lee’s career has been based on a belief that orthodontics can transform lives. She appreciates that whilst your teeth are a natural part of this, far more is involved.
