Bethan brings wide experience of dental nursing to our clinic, having completed her training in a hospital setting. The additional skills this offers adding to a number of years in good dental practices.
Attending a range of Continuing Professional Development courses keeps Bethan’s knowledge current. Part of providing up to date care to all our patients.
Chair side support is naturally a key part of Bethan’s work. Ensuring suitable instruments are at hand for our specialists, that her patients are comfortable and have all their needs met.
Technical skills also matter, to help with production of dental images, or making up patient notes, under instruction from the orthodontist.
A good dental nurse contributes to effective treatment. Their practical skills are at a high level and they are part of a safe place to be, from ensuring infection control procedures are followed, to watching over patients.
They also prepare for ongoing appointments, offering each patient a spotless environment, with all their treatment requires ready for use. Dental care of any form and especially orthodontics relies on teamwork.
