The video offers personal insight into Invisalign technology, how this interacts with your life and as importantly, the role a smile plays in communication.
Choosing the right system and support helps but great orthodontic results come from people being confident in their treatment. Seeing a personal plan through and achieving the outcome they wanted.
The relative speed of change using Invisalign assists with this, up to 50% faster than traditional braces. Having a range of options to suit individual needs is an additional benefit.
Invisalign Options
Your orthodontist will advise on the best choices for you, although this is a carefully considered, mutual decision:
- Invisalign Full – The original and constantly developed Invisalign aligners. Able to cope with a wide range of conditions and complete treatment within 12 to 18 months.
- Invisalign Teen – Similar to Invisalign Full, with special features. These include indicators to ensure aligners are being worn and a unique design, to allow for adult teeth emerging.
- Invisalign i7 – Created to treat milder cases of misalignment, Invisalign i7 consists of just seven sets of aligners. Still remarkably effective and complete in under 3 months.
- Invisalign Lite – Made for moderate cases, where Invisalign i7 are not quite sufficient for your requirements. Treatment is individually tailored and lasts for 6 to 7 months.
Invisalign is new technology, in a medical and developmental sense. They have still been creating braces since 1999 and we find they cope with a significant proportion of dental conditions.
Support At Our Clinic
Invisalign treatment is often a first choice for those who come to us and we understand why. There are also patients who wanted Invisalign but have been told they were not suitable.
That diagnosis may be correct, although a specialist centre with full dental and maxillofacial support could take a different view.
Our team believe in supporting patient choice. Consultants at our London clinic will give a frank opinion on the effective route for you, yet are happy to help overcome barriers.
Good orthodontic care is about achieving a smile for life and doing so by working with you. Please get in touch to arrange a consultation, or for any advice we can offer.
